It's certainly been a busy month for Sharky Extreme in the mainboard review department as we've been inundated with the last generation of 440BX mainboards before the arrival of Intel's 820 chipset this fall.

Thanks to the recent releases of some fantastic boards like the Abit BE6, the Soyo SY6BA+ III, and the AOpen AX6BC Pro Gold, we've been busy pounding away on the keyboards in order to provide readers with thorough reviews on these new high quality performers.

Today another new 440BX mainboard goes under the microscope, this one is manufactured by MicroStar International. Previously we've found MSI's products to be very stable and well made, along with offering a high degree of option choices.

Today's MS-6163 mainboard lives up to the standards set by MSI's past and adds a few new twists that bring it into the spotlight in a way that's usually occupied by ASUS or Abit mainboards.

From CPU overclocking to high FSB support, the new MS-6163 mainboard is yet another great foundation for a PC.
